A pleasant welcome. Well positioned hotel in centre of town. In upstairs mews room. Main room well proportioned. Bathroom well appointed but needs better control on heated towel rail as too hot. Could have been a slightly better layout. Decanter of sherry and bottle of bubbly a nice touch. Stayed 2 nights and ate in the restaurant both nights. Quality...

I stayed here recently for 3 nights. Excellent service from all of the staff I met. Stayed in a newer room at the back for a good last minute rate. The room was very clean, of average size with a good quality shower. Right in the center of town with parking at the rear. I only had a small meal...

Good location, well run coaching Inn. We arrived on a very cold wet afternoon but were soon in a comfy warm, well appointed room. The hotel has 3 separate bar areas and a good choice of beers and wine's. We ate in the restaurant and the food was well cooked and presented and very reasonably priced. Plenty of things to...

My wife and I stayed in this lovely Hotel for two nights. It is in a perfect central location in the lovely town/village. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, the restaurant was lovely and so was the food, as was the bar food and breakfast. Our room was in the courtyard to the rear of the...

After initially having a little problem securing our initial reservation with this hotel (not through its own or this website) the manager intervened and ensured we got the original dates we requested. This was a number of months ago. When we arrived this weekend we found that we had been afforded a free upgrade to a garden suite and also...

We will always keep revisiting this area and using this Hotel as a base, we love the Menu and the various rooms that we have stayed in, including the main building rooms, with the complimentary bottle of Sherry. The Staff are very friendly and appear to be very happy in each others company. One problem there should be some instruction...

I visited here for 2 nights. The staff were fantastic including the bar staff, waitresses and hotel staff. The hotel was clean and tidy and the room was nicely prepared after the first night. The rooms were modern but in keeping with the age of the hotel and the quality of the food was very good including breakfast. I would...

We booked a last minute weekend deal, bed , breakfast and 3 course evening meal. We thought it was great value for money. Food was good, room was a little tired but perfectly adequate and the staff were great. Was a freezing cold weekend but we got a very warm welcome. Give it a try you won't beat it value...

Booked for a long weekend as it was my wifes birthday on Saturday, Due to the weather just had a walk around the town and looked in the antique shops and art gallerys. Great food and wine and the birthday cake on Sunday made my wifes day.

On arrival there is limited parking but we got a space. We didn't see the sign for reception so walked the long way round via the bar. Slightly better signs from the car park would help. The receptionist was fantastic. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. You could not fault her level of service. We had drinks in the bars with...
