We have stayed with LIz on two separate trips to England and would stay again without pause. The rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast selections are varied and delicious. The location is convenient to town, the main road and the train. Moreton-in-Marsh is centrally located while visiting the Cotswolds. The grounds are lovely and make for a pleasant and restful visit.
A friend and I stayed with Liz and Brian and Teddy for several days in mid September and we were made to feel very much at home. We were in room 7 and it was fantastic-ground floor, spacious, immaculate and quiet. There’s even a little sitting area in the room and a delightful private patio. Food was wonderful. Everything was very special. It’s just minutes from High Street but we asked Andy to drive us to and from the train station because of our luggage. Wonderful guest house with wonderful staff. Hope we can return one day.
What a great 2 night stay. We stayed in room #7 which was quite big. It had a sofa that looked out onto the patio. Our breakfast which you order the night before was cooked to perfection & the coffee was great. The owners are such a sweet couple who always greeted you with a smile. Every night we sat in the sitting room & shared stories with their other guests. This B&B has a very comforting atmosphere.
Husband and I stayed in room 4 upstairs. Spacious with a sitting area and large windows looking out over garden and park. Quick walk to High Street and all the shops and pubs. Also short walk to train station. We were well taken care of in every way. At the end of the day it is lovely to come “home” to your bed!
Liz, Brian and Teddy made our 4 day stay memorable. Our room, #7, had a lovely patio and view of the rose garden. Beds were very comfortable, room was spotless and spacious. There was a tea kettle with coffees and teas and biscuits which we enjoyed every day. The sitting area in our room was a welcome touch and the sunroom for the guests was delightful. We can only use superlatives in this review as everything was the best. Super! Brilliant!
We stayed at the Treetops Guest House for two nights in early July 2017. This was our first trip to England and seeing the Cotswolds was high on our list of things to do. We chose Treetops because it is close to the train station, and we had no car. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk up the hill behind the station to the cottage. Prior to arriving we had been in London, York, Blackpool, and Liverpool, and when we entered our room at the Treetops it felt like we were home. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. There was a kettle for tea with some tea cakes. Best of all, the room looked out onto a beautiful garden through the window and onto a beautiful patio through sliding glass doors. We went on the Secret Cottage Tour (also wonderful - see my review there) and walked all around Moreton-on-Marsh. Saw many beautiful things, and enjoyed coming home each evening to download photos and blog from the cozy patio. Since our trip, many have asked me what was my favorite place in England and I always say, "the patio of the Treetops Guest Cottage"!…
We stayed at Treetops Guest House for 2 nights and it was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The room is large, the hosts made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was great. There is also a beautiful garden in the back although the front is beautiful too. There is a separate door for the guests so you feel you have privacy. A large sunroom offers to opportunity to just sit and relax and look at the garden. Very happy my husband chose this place!
This was a splurge for us, more than we usually spend on B&Bs, but Moreton-in-Marsh is a popular town and this one is fairly close to the train station. We appreciated all the space in our room, and even having a corkscrew and wineglasses. The large bed was perhaps a bit hard for our taste, and we could feel the little ridge in the middle where the two segments were joined. Nice breakfasts and a cheery atmosphere in the dining area.
I stayed here as a base for a short visit to the Cotswalds. The guesthouse is a short walk from the train station- set back from the road and quite private. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The owners are helpful and friendly. A wonderful customized breakfast is prepared every morning. Advice and assistance with tours, a beautiful garden, a short walk to the town of Moreton in marsh , good value for money - could not reasonably ask for anything else. My visit was memorable. This would be my first choice for a future visit to the Cotswalds.
Our stay at Treetops was comfortable and relaxing. We had a very spacious room with a comfy sitting area overlooking a lovely garden. Our host Liz was very warm and welcoming and we enjoyed seeing her little dog Teddy following her around! She provided a delicious and hearty breakfast for us each morning - a good start to the day! Treetops is also very close to the train station so is a great place to explore the Cotswolds from.
