The house is unique...great location in the center of town. Easy parking on Sheep Street directly in front of B & B. Narrow spiral staircase to second floor guest rooms. Bathroom between two guest rooms on second floor with tiny sitting room on ground floor. Perfect for our family of four. Dog smell wasn't an issue for anyone in our...

We stayed here recently for one night and as other reviewers have mentioned, also found the owner to be kind and helpful. Her home has tons of character and is set up very well with two upstairs bedrooms that share a common bathroom. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town. However, we found the home to have...

The owner is a lovely woman who made my wife and me feel absolutely at home. We were extremely well taken care of and could not have been more pleased. We stayed two nights in a comfortable room with lots of light and cozy beds. Breakfasts were delicious and quite filling. We would definitely stay here again!

When visiting the charming storybook villages of the Cotswolds, we wanted to stay at a place that's in keeping with our sightseeing and not a modern American-style motel/hotel. This house has character--it's centuries old with beamed ceilings and creaky stairs. But it's comfortable and clean, and we had the whole place to ourselves because there were only two rooms--one bedroom...

Great location, good old pub across the road(not the only one claiming to be England's oldest pub) and Indian restaurant, good breakfast, charming host, we've stayed there often. If you are traveling from North America the history is everywhere! The Pound is small and intimate, Stowe on the Wold quintessential Cotswolds. If you want the Holiday Inn this is not...

My friend and I booked a room at The Pound for 2 nights and we loved the place. We were the only guests so had full use of the cozy sitting room as well. Pat was a charming host and it felt like we were visiting with a sister. Breakfasts were delicious! Pat's son was very helpful with the luggage....

My mother and I visited The Pound last March for three nights and found it to be the highlight of our long awaited trip to England. I discovered it by noticing it on the cover of Rick Steves Great Britain 2008 travel guide, it looked so charming we had to stay there. We were not disappointed, Patricia does a wonderful...

We stayed with Patricia at the Pound for one night during our England trip. We were the only guests that evening and found her home extremely clean and well decorated. It was particulaly fun because the place is 500 years old and the floors uneven and ceilings quite low. The beds were very comfortable and we rested well. Patricia provides...
