Stayed last night at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and helpful, bedroom was stunning and everything was immaculately clean and worked perfectly. The dining room is a tad "old fashioned" but the staff and exquisite food made up for that, really charming. A spirited debate with the young French sommelier resulted in a superb choice of...

Got a deal for a one night dinner, bed and breakfast stay. The room was very comfortable and the hotel great set in well maintained grounds. Dinner was fine, breakfast was excellent. The service was good. No Wi-Fi in room but could get at reception. Would recommend on a package deal but at normal hotel prices this is expensive. A...

The hotel is located in the picturesque hamlet of Upper Slaughter in the Cotswolds. We know the area having stayed there a number of times. We booked though Secret Escapes and got an excellent deal for a one night dinner, bed and breakfast stay. The room was very comfortable and the hotel was a pleasant stop in well maintained grounds....

We stayed at this hotel at the end of August 2014. It is a beautiful building situated in a quiet part of the Cotswolds. We ate at the Michelin starred restaurant and the food was amazing. The only disappointment was the fact that there was a supplementary charge on some of the starters, main courses and desserts. We were not...

Went for a 24 hour meeting. Very comfortable, good room, great staff. Loved getting a cafe tierce of coffee delivered in morning. Dinner excellent. Breakfast good. Somehow despite lovely building, great staff not quite perfect. But still a lovely hotel.

We (myself, my husband and my mom) stayed 5 nights in July and loved this stately, gracious manor house. It is a well preserved treasure in the most beautiful setting in the most beautiful part of the Cotswolds! Upper Slaughter was beyond charming and close to so much and this hotel was conveniently located. We had a lovely room looking...

Really enjoyed our Saturday night stay here. Started with cocktails on the lawn on arrival then relaxed in our room. It was amply proportioned with a super comfy bed, lounge chairs and flat screen tv. The water pressure was very high - the bath was v run in no time at all and the shower was great. Dinner in the...

Service was excellent, friendly and obliging. Ample parking in the hotel grounds, so no worries about the car. The Warden's Way is close by, running past the hotel across the stream at the end of the garden. A 15-minute walk takes you to picture-postcard Lower Slaughter, emerging near the Mill (there is an interesting little shop there). Bourton-on-the-Water can be...

I booked a two night stay at Lords of the Manor as a birthday treat for my husband along with hiring his favourite car - an E-type Jag. I can honestly say that the hotel staff deliver exceptional service and the hotel itself is an extremely beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Upper and Lower Slaughter as much everywhere else...

We recently had an overnight stay which included a five course tasting menu and breakfast. Our first impressions were good, very professional, great service, friendly faces, we were showed to our room 'Churchill' by a very pleasant gentlemen who explained all the necessities, at this point we were slightly disappointed as the room seemed a little tired and shabby in...
