Nice welcome, friendly knowledgeable staff and a really lovely hotel. Room was lovely and clean, warm and a good view. Breakfast was served at a local cafe which was absolutely lovely. Parking was the only downside as the hotel does not have parking but will issue you a parking permit for a deposit however as the hotel is on the main sea front road it’s hard to find a space near.

Our top floor room had an amazing view over Southsea Common and the Isle of Wight. There are loads of restaurants, cafés and bars just around the corner on Palmerston Road and Osborne Road. Every single member of staff we met has been friendly and really helpful. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for the weekend and loved it. Our windows overlooked Southsea Common, a lovely place for a morning walk. We bought £5 vouchers for breakfast which we had at a cafe round the corner: breakfast was great and worth at least £10! The bed was comfortable and everything was at a very high standard. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, offering us free car parking, even on the day we checked out. This is a gem and we will be coming back. Great for visiting Gunwharf Quays.

Lovely hotel, really nice greeting with great advice, room was lovely and clean with all usual facilities would definitely stay again and book a sea view room next. The only issue is bagging a parking space if you are lucky enough that’s the downside but we could not fault the staff or the hotel

We had a great stay and can not wait to return. On arrival we were lucky to have a parking space - there are only two so this is not always available but there is paid parking available on the street. We were allocated a room at the top of the hotel (luxury sea view) The view was amazing and worth the climb. It should be noted there is no lift, we were fine with this but if you don't like stairs book a room lower down. The room was decorated in pale grey and white and was very calming. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were new and clean (no yellow stains or marks) The bathroom was white and sparkling clean and I am very fussy! The team however made the stay extra special. The manager Yazan Mattar always welcomed us with a smile and was happy to go the extra mile to make our stay so special. The gentleman on the reception overnight was also very friendly, as were the team who cleaned the rooms. The coffee room downstairs is a great space but we did not have time to use it. We did however go for breakfast which is in a great café with good coffee. The £5 breakfast is good as the meals are over £7 A great stay, thank you to the team.
