Travellers' Choice
A warm welcome awaits at Portsmouth’s last family run seafront hotel which has been brought into the 21 st century with a sympathetic refurbishment including a passenger lift, en- suite rooms and suites, a cosy Bar, 24 hour Reception, a varied breakfast and on road and private parking. With stunning maritime views from the bedrooms on the third floor, the first & second floor rooms overlook the beautiful ornamental gardens with sea glimpses through the trees. Just along the road is South Parade Pier with its wonderful restaurant, small fun fair and entertainment bars. Close by is the D Day Museum, Aquarium and Southsea Castle where Henry the 8 th stood watching as the Mary Rose sank into the Solent. Also within walking distance is the Pyramids Centre, Canoe Lake, the Rose Gardens, Isle of Wight Hovercraft and Palmerston Road which boasts over 40 restaurants from almost as many different countries. Moments away, is a seafood restaurant, a gastropub, a fine dining establishment and the usual seaside cafes etc. Gunwharf Quays/historic dockyard is a ten minute bus ride away or a 40 minute walk along the promenade and through historic Old Portsmouth.

We usually stay at chain hotels and needed a night in Portsmouth for the Uni open day. Our daughter didn't want to share a room and the Seacrest popped up on a booking sight. So glad we booked it, beautiful hotel with fabulous friendly staff. We had a suite and oh my goodness it was amazing and so clean. Had a great night's sleep too. The breakfast was one of the best we have had away and my husbands gluten free requests were no problem for them. My only regret is was it was one night, will definitely be back.

A lovely family experience would love to go back and all for a reasonable price too. Would Reccomend for small families as the facilities are the perfect size for an average family. Food spectacular, room service immaculate and all round stunning building

Stayed 3 nights and although the rooms are cosy, don’t bring your cat if it likes swinging! Everything is spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious: high quality ingredients and served by lovely friendly and flexible staff. A delightful stay! 😁

We stayed at the Seacrest for a 5 night break with a group of friends and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The hotel is in a great location on a residential street overlooking the Solent. I have to say this is one of the best B&B hotels I have stayed at in the UK. We can't praise the staff highly enough, I don't think we have come across a friendlier team before, who all clearly want to provide a great customer experience and were all so friendly. The rooms were compact but more than adequate for our stay and good value for money at the price (we were on the top floor with a view over the water). The hotel has a small bar which stayed open for a late evening night cap and a couple of lounge areas to relax in. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice and very tasty (they clearly have a good breakfast chef or 2) and again the staff were happy to set a table for 6 for us each morning, which meant we could all breakfast together. The hotel has wifi with a good signal for those who crave it. There is a small car park to the rear and plenty of on street parking in front for which the hotel give you a permit at a cost of £2/day. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Portsmouth and the stay at the Seacrest. We would certainly all stay here again and would definitely recommend it if you are visiting the city.

My wife and I stayed here the night before we took the ferry to Spain. The location is excellent, right on Southsea seafront-- the hotel is very nicely decorated, very quaint, it has large bedrooms and comfortable beds with very good quality Wi-Fi. Re Parking -The hotel has a very small car park with limited spaces, however there were plenty of spaces directly opposite which are free from 6p.m. to 8am- The Hotel will also give you a parking voucher which only costs 2 pounds for the whole day- The staff are very friendly
