We had a suite which was large and very clean but a real plus was the super king bed which was really comfortable with good quality linen. The location and peace far outweighs the difficulty we had parking when returning from dinner. We had a small dog with us so breakfast was in a dog friendly hut in the garden. This was cosy and we actually preferred it in there, dog or no dog! Staff were lovely, breakfast very good. Definitely one we would go to again; if possible, book a suite.

Great large room, comfortable bed and nice towels. For an executive room, was disappointed with travel kettle and hairdryer. Also needs mugs not small cups and saucers. No shelves in bathroom, nowhere to put toiletries. Restaurant is a pun behind Restaurant, not on site. Breakfast was first class, very tasty, excellent produce. However only cooked options on menu. Had to ask if they had cereals and juice, this needs to be on the menu offer. Ask for a Parking permit on arrival to park in the street. Great stay & would return.

Thank you for taking the time to review us and very glad you enjoyed the stay. As you mention we are lucky to have one charging point in Florence Road and another in neighbouring St Catherines Road. Permits are also available for every guest. We do hope we can welcome you again the next time you are in Portsmouth.

Spent 3 nights in room 5. Although the hotel is in 3 separate buildings we enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff are lovely and the hotel is very clean and well kept. The only inconvenience is not always being able to park on sight you get a parking permit which allows you to park for free but you can’t always guarantee a space outside the hotel
