Warm and welcoming, Claire and Steve were very friendly on arrival, rooms are comfortable but basic, breakfast was first rate and you could request more if you wanted. Would definitely recommend to any one should they want to stay in South sea, and will be staying there again.

We stayed one night in the Everley. The rooms are not plush but excellent value for money. The owner could not have been more helpful and so friendly, he made us feel really comfortable and seemed really interested in us and other guests staying. The breakfast was amazing, there was a choice of light or full English. We opted for... More

Nice place, nice people, lovely breakfast but the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. The mattress was soooo soft!! My back was aching the next day. Pretty much ruining the whole weekend...such a shame!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a lovely couple of nights B and B. Very clean property and good filling breakfasts. The hosts were very friendly and helped us with advice on local attractions and places to eat out. Would definitely return.

I stayed here for one night, they upgraded my room as they didn't have a single room left. It was clean, friendly, comfy, plenty of tea & coffee in room, and the breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

Our stay was for 2 nights at the Everley Guest House in Portsmouth. It is a very old house located in what looks like a transition neighborhood. Our room was a very small room, en-suite, located at the top of the stairs. Despite the location at the top of the stairs guests were considerate as they made their way past... More

Lovely vegetarian breakfast (they also cater for vegan) with wonderful homemade granary bread. Very clean and comfortable place to stay and friendly people. A short walk from the theatre and many, many restaurants. Will stay there again next year.

Decent B&B, I had a small single en-suite room that was comfortable for a one week stay. I was maybe fortunate and managed to park at the door each night. Parking can be a nightmare in Portsmouth. Breakfast was good and the location is very handy for the sea-side which is just down the road.

“Our room was off to one side and so we didn`t have a problem as it was lovely and quiet. All we can say is that the room we had was a double en-suite and we were pleasantly surprised. For the price this is a very good deal.”
