My wonderful fiance booked us a stay here on the night of our engagement! Tanya & Min went above & beyond to make this super special for us! They were able to accommodate us on the roof terrace for drinks with our friends and family. Despite being middle of October the terrace was super warm & blankets supplied for anyone extra chilly! The room was decorated beautifully in rose petals! & the view when we woke in the morning to watch the sunrise across the harbour was just breath taking! We loved our stay so much... we have booked our wedding here!! We can't wait to get back and celebrate our big day!

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed here for a night with my wife. What a very plesant stay we had in this lovely hotel. A very modern stylish hotel located in Ocean Village Southampton. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming, nice and helpful. Our room was fantastic, we had a great view overlooking the marina and the sea. I found everything very clean as expected of a hotel of this stature. Later we had a meal in the Jetty resturant. both of our meals were prepared to perfection and the service was excellent. When we checked out we found again the desk staff to be helful, happy and smiling. Our car was in the hotel car park across the road, it was raining quite heavily, so a very kind and helpful gentleman from the front desk took my keys and drove it over to the main entrance at the side of the hotel ready for us. I wourld thoroughly reccommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Southampton area. It is also very cl;ose to the main part of town. Thank you Habour Hotel for a pleasant stay.

My wife and I chose this hotel because of it's location, the reviews and the spa thankfully it didn't disappoint. We booked a studio suite with a balcony over looking the Marina, 442. The room was spacious and comfortable with a, kitchenette including a fridge, kettle etc, and small seating area, large Tv and settee. The bed was big and comfortable, can't say anymore. The staff were lovely, all courteous and helpful, particularly a young lass on the reception desk, whom I believe is called Vita. She was their every day from when we checked in, so three days, unfortunately she wasn't on duty when we checked out, didn't get a chance to say thank you. She always had a cheery smile, always polite and helpful. We had a small issue with our bathroom sink, the smell of drains if that makes sense. it was obvious the waste trap needed a clean out. I mentioned this to Vita and she was horrified, on it straight away and whilst we were out it was sorted, no drama or arguments. We ate in both the top Harbar on 6th and the fine dining Jetty restaurant, both were good, but the Harbar, in which we had lunch, was a bit too lively for my wife and I, whilst the Jetty was just up our street. The food was excellent, specialising in fish and Seafood. All in all we had a lovely break, enjoying the hotel and spa, visiting local museums and the New Forest.

I spent one night at this hotel with my best friend who has a reputation for being a ‘ fussy customer’. Her actual words were “I couldn’t fault this place one little bit’ We liked the luxury feel of the place (even the corridors were immaculate and high quality), the bed and the bedding was gorgeous and the complimentary items, which included the mini toiletries in the bathroom, tea, coffee, gin and Sherry, were all high end. There were also added extras that I would not expect, such as a jar of cotton wool and little sewing kits. We ate at the The 6th and the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff throughout the hotel were very attentive and friendly and bent over backwards for you. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Spent the weekend at this hotel, when we arrived the room was very cold. Tried to turn the temperature up on the wall control. Went out came back later still cold. Spoke to the duty manager who sent maintenance guy to the room, he changed the filter. Went downstairs stairs set the temperature higher, he came back and said if it gets to hot turn it down on the wall. My wife went to the controls turn it down and hey ho cold air. This problem was not solved. We were asked if we wanted to change rooms, but we said no because we’re told it was working fine, so the hotel controlled the heating from a room downstairs, saying it was 24 degrees but cold air was blowing out of the vents. When we were leaving spoke to the manager who of course said sorry. But our point was they controlled the heating in the room it was set at 24,but blew out cold air.5 star hotel yes heating in the room 0 stars way they handled the complaint 0 stars offered 30 % of next stay?

Dear huntch1955, Thank you for taking the time to share with us your feedback. I am truly disappointed to read that your stay didn't meet the expectations on this occasion. I understand that our team went to the room and checked the room temperature, it was 24 degree. Since the AC system works both ways, if it sets up at 24 degree, the units will regulate temperature cooling or heating to keep the room temperature in line with the setting. I am really sorry that you found the room very cold. I would like to take the opportunity to apologise again for any inconvenience this caused to you and your stay with us at the hotel. Overall we normally receive very positive feedback, however we take your feedback on board. We hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you back to Southampton Harbour in the near future, if we can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. Best wishes, Xiaomin
