Sunday lunch, four choices to each course. Wonderful food and beautifully presented. Excellent service. Hotel is in very nice grounds. We're lucky that is was a lovely afternoon to have coffee out on the terrace which had lovely views of surrounding countryside

We stayed one night in Elm room. Lovely bathroom, with spa bath and huge walkin shower. Comfy bed and plenty of tea and coffee, plus bottled water. Intermittent buzzing from an unidentified source disrupted my sleep, which was very annoying. Further, the housekeeping staff need to remove high cobwebs directly above the bed head. Lovely grounds, excellent food and very...

Afternoon tea in this beautiful setting is a great way to unwind and catch up with friends. The home cooked ham is delicious, as was all the tea, excellent but not intrusive service, and when completely stuffed with food, a gentle walk around the wonderful grounds, following the map happily given,.

From the moment we turned up at Lainston House it was just perfect. The surroundings are truly beautiful. We were immediately shown to our junior suite which was called 'heather'. Words cannot describe how grand and beautiful the room was. The ceilings were high, the décor perfectly suited and the bathroom was the biggest bathroom I have ever had in...

"Being treated like royalty" and "wonderful staff", what more could I ask from the team here at Lainston House. Thank you for your glowing review. You may be surprised to hear that Heather is one of our more traditional rooms and is one which I also think is full of character and grandeur. All of our bedrooms are individual and...

We stayed 2 nights, bed and breakfast and dinner. Our room, the Olive Suite, was spacious and tastefully decorated in a manner in keeping with its four poster bed. The bathroom was particularly large with walk in showers, baths and twin hand basins. The room overlooked an internal garden and was very quiet. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar before...

This our favourite out of all the Exclusive Hotels even though I'm a member of Penny Hill Park Spa. Every visit is like coming home. I can say no more. This is a superb hotel set in wonderful grounds.

We stayed in Sycamore which is a wonderful bedroom, very spacious and sympathetically furnished to match the lovely old mansion. The bathroom can be described in one word, magnificent. Our a la carte dinner was very good but at £58 for three courses I have had better value. I prefer fine napery rather than bare tables in an upmarket restaurant...

I arranged for my mum and I to have Afternoon Tea at Lainston House as we were unable to be together on Mother's Day. The venue was lovely and we were served our tea in The Drawing Room. Staff were very attentive and the tea, delicious. Parking was a bit of an issue, but this didn't detract from the experience.

Had a lovely two night stay in (ground floor) junior suite which was great. Room very comfortable, a really good size with fab bathroom facilities - especially the shower. Down-side of room - noise from corridor. All corridors are tiled so you can hear everyone walking back and forth outside from 6am to whenever people decide to go to bed...
