Our Hereford Blackfriars Street hotel is in a great location for exploring this historic market town. It's next to Hereford's Old Market shopping centre, where you can shop for plenty of high street brands, and less than a five-minute walk from Edgar Street stadium - the home of Hereford FC. Hereford is a major historical site; the 17th Century Black and White House Museum and the world's largest medieval map, the Mappa Mundi, are both under a mile away from our hotel. When you're feeling peckish, stop by our in-house Thyme restaurant for a delicious meal and when you're done for the day, look forward a relaxing sleep on one of our super-comfy Hypnos beds.

Fantastic nights sleep ! Clean comfy hotel. No problems, staff helpful. Didn’t eat breakfast but smelt good. Not much parking but central location and parking very close around hotel. Never have a problem with premier inn always guaranteed a good stay .

Hotel's Favourite
Really warm welcome at the Hereford Premier Inn. The staff seemed to be putting that little bit extra into being helpful and accommodating which made our stay feel pleasant, relaxed and enjoyable. The hotel is well located too, just across from the new 'Old market' development which is full of shops and restaurants.

We stayed at the Hereford Old Market Hotel for 3 nights .on arrival we where greater by a very over worked (her words) agressive receptionist check took for ever ! We where going to eat in the restaurant that night but it was closed so we went out we later found out on our return from eating out that the restaurant was open they had just forgotten to turn the sign around we sat and had a drink from the bar ..we where then shouted at that the bar was now closed at 10.40pm as the grippy receptionist was going as she had been on duty from 10am… After the first night it all went down hill fried eggs rock hard half the menu off as no Diliverys staff just not botherd even the manager was not interested in making your stay enjoyable I could go on but it’s all very negative !!!!!!!!!!!

Stayed for two nights with work and couldn’t believe how lovely this hotel was. I had a premier plus room and it was spotless, amazing bathroom with lovely soaps and a really comfy chair with desk for working at in the day. Lovely dressing table area too, and coffee machine/green & blacks chocolates were a nice surprise. Was even amazed by how good the hallway smelt!! Breakfast was so easy both days, and they ask people to book ahead to manage it with Covid. They had a nice basic buffet with crumpets, bagels and pancakes too. The Old Market centre across the road is perfect for food options & has some good shops too. I felt really safe going over in the evening as a solo female. Always space in the on-site car park too which was a reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone going this way!

STAFF: The ones we met were 5 star. HOTEL ROOM: 4 stars. Exceptionally clean, well equipped. Lost a star for not having a direct telephone number to reception. What spoilt our night was a traveller in the room above our room. From 8.00pm until 1am they must have been doing bunny hops across the bedroom floor. For 5 hours the vibrations shook our bed. Premier Inn you need to have a phone number for times like this that travellers can ring. I rang the number on my receipt only to discover no such number existed. FOOD: Breakfast was served at the table and it was again very good. Coffee and food was hot. LOCATION: Close to the city centre, a cinema and other local amenities. PARKING: £5 a night
