I stayed for two nights on business. The location is very good with plenty of parking and the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. My single en suite was very small, the shower worked well and coffee and biscuits were replaced every day. During the first night the wild weather blew the TV aerial down, so nobody had any TV...

Stayed at Somerville house for 3 nights. Had a superior room which was very comfortable with lovely views over the city towards the cathedral. Breakfast was delicious and catered for all tastes. We really appreciated the attention to detail, one example is having a little fridge in the room. It was also very clean. A great place to stay.

Dear Mary and Phil, Many thanks for your lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed the view from your room, that we think is one of the best in the city, combining our garden, the cathedral tower beyond, the Black Mountains of Wales in the distance (not usually black, actually) and the ever changing romantic sky! It is good to...

I stay here maybe once a month for work, am always welcomed back by Bill and Rosie. Rooms are comfortable, from the smallest ones in the roof, to the large ones downstairs. Rooms equipped with fridge full of local treats (that you can buy). Breakfast is excellent, both the continental items and the large choice of local organic cooked products.

Stayed at Somerville House for 4 nights and will definitely be going back. Our room was comfortable with a great view and a very large comfortable bed. We were welcomed on arrival with tea and biscuits in the lovely lounge which was a nice touch. Great attention to detail - e.g. fresh milk provided in the room and a good...

It started very well. A warm welcome, a complimentary coffee in the comfortable guest lounge, a lovely feel to the place. And it was within easy walking distance of the town centre and railway station, yet far enough away not to be disturbed by any noise. Parking was a bit tight, but adequate. But the room just didn't live up...

I stayed here over the last Bank Holiday weekend as I was getting married in Herefordshire. I also recommended that friends and family stayed here. What a great decision. Rosie and Bill were accommodating before and throughout my stay. They were especially kind when I kept calling to revise my check in times. On arrival they were welcoming to me...

Fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Hereford this professionally run hotel has much to recommend it. The Breakfasts are generous with friendly and helpful service and the rooms well appointed and noise free. There is off street parking. For those of us that prefer a bed that gently supports your back the mattresses are perhaps a bit hard and...

Having stayed at Somerville House in 2014 I did not hesitate to stay there again. The B&B is within easy walking distance of the station and city centre (cathedral, restaurants etc).
