The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and every morning I’d get a cheery hello from Becky, one of the loveliest members of staff! I will request this hotel next time I’m down in Hereford, I can’t fault it, and I loved having a nice chat with Becky in the mornings, as it puts a smile on my face before I went to work.
My go to for overnighting in Hereford. Here are the plus points. Always good prices and it does TopCashback too Central location just next to the Sainsbury’s Supermarket Free car parking Great staff especially Scott Right next to the Cider Museum Clean fresh rooms Hereford is a great place to visit Could do better The WiFi, even the local Wetherspoons does FTTC speeds Usually a Premier Inn person but this Travelodge has won me over. It’s excellent.
We were disappointed to find mould in the bathroom, the bottom of the shower curtain was discoloured and paint flaking from the bathroom ceiling. We were in Hereford for a funeral and my wife was already very upset so we didn't complain at the time. She didn't want any extra stress ie moving rooms after unpacking etc.
Stayed here when I had to travel to wales for a family funeral. The location was perfect for where I needed to be. The staff were lovely. The room itself was lovely and had everything you would need. The issues I had were the bathroom, it wasn’t as clean as it should have been and there were areas that were clearly visible so shouldn’t have been missed. The grab rail was a bit rusty which is never a good look. I did book for a late checkout meaning I had till 2 o’clock yet twice cleaners let themselves into the room to clean it before realising someone was still there. This shouldn’t really happen, they should have lists of late checkout rooms etc. The only other issue I had was the key card seemed to deactivate so I couldn’t get back in and had to wait for a member of staff, which wasn’t a big disruption but it’s the little things that matter. Overall I would stay here again provided a little more attention was given to cleaning of the bathrooms.…
Receptionist, Becki, was absolutely lovely - there was a slight hitch with my business booking and she was so helpful and bubbly. Room was large and clean, however the bathroom cleanliness could do with some improvement. Comfortable bed and modern TV. Location is good to get into the lovely historic centre, however a 25 minute walk to the train station.
