This is a first class restaurant fantastic cuisine with very friendly staff nothing to much trouble and a great variety of drinks, do not drive past with out calling in. We will be returning for our anniversary, prices are very reasonable for the standard of food

Upon arrival at the Large Georgian property I was struck by the state of disrepair and I became a little nervous. The hotel is definitely a little on the shabby side but once inside the décor and ambience takes over and I found myself really liking the hotel. I am very hard to please and have high standards and my...

Friendly, relaxed, dog friendly and amazing food and cocktails all in a stylish countryside setting. Very mr and mrs smith. Fab staff who can't do enough. Whole area is beautiful with great national trust places and walks (British Camp is a fab hill top walk with nice pub at the bottom).

Having visited Verzons again with great expectations given our 3 previous visits I have to say I was disappointed. The lunch menu has been changed, admittedly with more options, as long as you want steak and anyone that calls him/herself a chef should be able to cook a steak. The staff as ever were absolutely wonderful and looked after us...

Found completely by accident. Unique decor and ambiance. Lovely friendly staff. Dog friendly. Even allowed to dime with dog. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in!! Food was 7 out of 10. I had Beaford medallions and it was average. Well presented though. Room 1 has a wonderful view through two sash windows. Grounds are well maintained and...

I recently booked an overnight stay with dinner and distillery tour with friends for my husband's birthday. We were warmly greeted and shown through to the bar to wait for our pre-booked transport (which is recommended). The bar was quirky with a large Union Jack designed sofa and open fire ... perfect! It took 20 minutes or so to reach...

The staff very very friendly and helpful, a very interesting hotel that has a vineyard in France and a distillery on a farm nearby. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom superb, all toiletries supplied. Our dinner was excellent, locally supplied ingredients - we had the steak - delicious! Breakfast was more than adiquate, we didn't use the outside...

Just returned from an overnight stay whilst exploring the Hereford and Ledbury area. The hotel is in a great location approximately mid way between Hereford and Ledbury. We enjoyed our stay and were particularly impressed with all the staff we encountered. Welcoming, professional and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice. I had the Severn & Wye Smoked Salmon...
