Four of us had an excellent, delicious meal last night at my local pub. The new chef is producing some really tasty, quality food at a reasonable price and I would definitely recommend it. We chatted to the chef who seems really passionate about using fresh ingredients and taking time with homemade dishes and sauces/gravy. Three of us had liver and...

Great pub. Have stayed a few times and enjoy the comfortable rooms and cosy bar. Food is incredible and lots of it at a very reasonable price. Plenty of character inside and a friendly Landlord and locals. A must-visit if in Canterbury!

Been to Kings Head twice since new Chef started. Tried Homemade Burgers was very impressed when asked how we liked them cooked. Just had Sunday Roast today was extremely tasty and gravy was delicious. Well done to Mark for a good pub for drinks/food/social place to meet and to your new Chef for feeding us well.

The Kings Head is nearest to Canterbury East Station. Approximately 10 min walk to the Cathedral. Clean & comfortable room with friendly staff. We would stay here again. Breakfast was good. It is good for shopping only a few independent shops though. We found a few little roads with quirky Tudor buildings. Markets are on Wednesday and Friday. Canterbury offers...

Friendly Inn with a few rooms upstairs. I have stayed a number of times. The rooms are always clean and the small ensuite bathrooms well stocked with sundries. The beds are comfy and the breakfasts epic. This is an old building and part of its charm are the period features - including rather low doorways, so just make sure you...

Came for dinner on Friday night and we were offered the fish and chip special which was amazing. Huge portion of fish freshly battered which was crispy and homemade chips were delicious. By far the best fish and chips in town. We will definitely return and would recommend highly.
