Value for money. Nice clean and comfortable room. Quiet, couldn't here the pub below us at all. Central city location close to everything. Get room 110 - the window view looks out over Canterbury Cathedral, spectacular. Cheap drinks and meals in the two story pub below.

A great little 1 night stay in Canterbury - easy to get to from the train stations and up the road from the cathedral/ they had a room for us to keep our luggage so we could make the most of the time in Canterbury , when we did check in it was a big spacious room with a large shower , the bed was comfy with extra pillows and the water, biscuits along with the tea and coffee is a great addition the nights sleep was good and all in all good value for money.

I ordered a pint via the mobile app and when it didn't arrive within 20 minutes I went to the bar and it was sitting there but they didn't bring it to me. This is disgusting service and should be taken up by the manager

For a decent price we Gita huge room with a stunning view of Canterbury Cathedral. Overall we were very pleased, from the helpful reception staff the the standard of housekeeping, but docked a point for the twin beds when we booked a double (though it was a simple matter to push them together), and because a beer delivery at 7am was loud and shook the entire building (though of course it is a working pub). The beds are on the firm side too. Overall though, highly recommended. Some rooms don’t have the great view, so it’s worth calling to book the best rooms rather than relying on the online booking system. Breakfast isn’t included, but it’s a ‘Spoons so cheap, filling breakfasts are available onsite.

Good central choice. Room had everything you needed. Was a bit noisy as had room with window onto street and pub goers were outside til closing. Large bed USB points. Tea and coffee. Even oat milk sachets ! Right by all attractions. Public Car park 2 mins away altho expensive.

Great little stop over lovely welcome (you don’t need a great big reception dest just a hole in the wall.) a beautiful clean fresh room with fresh crisp bedding and towels. Rooms on the 3rd floor ours was a lovely large one. Parking was off site. We ate 2 meals in the restaurant which were value for money and served by pleasant friendly staff.

Stayed here for the bank holiday weekend, was woken up at 04.50 am by the bin men who were very loud emptying bottles, the sound was horrendous, then bin men came back again at 06.00 am to empty other bins again very loud , then at 06.30 the road sweeping van came along. We just couldn’t sleep or relax so we left at 06.50 am because we couldn’t take it anymore, asked hotel for refund made me wait a week to the tell me we are not going to refund and if I wanted refund to ask the local council, very rude person, and especially to make me wait a whole week to tell me this , rude rude, there are better hotels elsewhere and around so I recommend you avoid this one unless you like being woken up from the one time you booked a hotel to get away for a good nights sleep, even Booking.com was disgusted and gave me a part refund for my next trip, they said they was disappointed at how I was treated

Didn't stay at hotel but drank in pub two nights. Two floors, more impressive than West Gate Inn, helpful staff. However I can't score it higher than 3 due to the poor choice of ale and cider. First visit I had Theakstons Old Peculiar which is a great beer but it's often on in my local 'spoon in Halesowen, West Midlands - the ultimate busman's holiday. Next night it had gone, and not liking Greene King or Ruddles I was reduced to drinking American keg beer, which admittedly is a bit better than most British keg. Same for bag-in-box cider; only the ubiquitous Weston's Old Rosie. When on holiday drinkers want to try local beer and cider.

The hotel is in a good location in the city center. The check-in desk is on the first floor. The price doesn't include breakfast but nobody said anything about it, just that it's served from 7.00. Not there falt but parking in Canterbury is paid 24 hours. The room was big and nice.
