My sister and I stayed here for 1 night. The location was perfect in the middle of everything, and the room was clean and tidy. Easy check-in process. Amazing shower, too! Thank you for a great stay. When we visit again we will be back! Thank you

Our room was clean, well-maintained, and tidy, with a beautiful modern bathroom and a wonderful central location. The room was a little small, but this didn't matter at all to us. A coffee machine, toiletries, hair dryer, ear plugs, and water were provided, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. Quiet, comfortable, and straightforward. We will definitely be heading back.

The Hugo is a short walk from Canterbury West Rail Station. Do make sure if you arrive by rail, that your train does arrive at the West Station and your GPS or Rail App doesn't end with instructions to arrive at East and walk (0.6 miles) to the West station. We did get this right, and arrived at the West station which is 0.3 miles from the apartment. The owner kept in touch with me about the reservation, the directions, and how to access the apartment. He followed up with me after my stay. This is not recommended for people who can't manage stairs, who have poor balance/vertigo, or who are traveling with young children who may not be able to safely manage the stairs and the varied floor levels on the upper floor. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the top floor and living area on the bottom floor which is accessed via one flight of stairs. This is a very clean and spacious apartment that is on a street that is pedestrian only during the day. My family and I absolutely loved our stay here and did not want to leave. We hope to return. From the Hugo you have easy access to the Cathedral and are just a one hour train ride away from the White Cliffs of Dover. Stay here if you can! This is a clean, spacious, comfortable, well located, and well managed place!

Hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Canterbury - as there was 10 of us we had the entire hotel to ourselves which was amazing - such a great set up and lots of room for all of us! Rooms are immaculate, comfortable, the beds are really comfortable and the soundproofing works perfect as Canterbury was quite noisy saturday night but we all had an excellent nights sleep!

Amazing spot, right in the centre of town (which made arriving to activities on time a breeze). The room was spacious, the bathroom was perfect, and the overall design aesthetic was very chic. I would absolutely recommend this location for your Canterbury visit if you're looking for reasonably priced yet luxurious feeling accommodation.

We booked this hotel as it was close to where we wanted to be when visiting Canterbury and were not disappointed. From initial booking to final check out the owner was on hand it seemed 24/7. Tucked away on the high street, a small doorway takes you up to 4 rooms available. Our room was tastefully decorated, no expense spared on curtains, blinds etc., great coffee making facilities, a large bathroom with walk in shower, two sinks and a loo. Bed was large and very comfortable and it is definitely somewhere I will book again and again when visiting Canterbury. You will not be disappointed!

My boyfriend booked the No. 4 Junior Suite for us as a birthday weekend away. The room was absolutely gorgeous, very comfortable bed, great features (such as a nespresso machine and temple spa products) and very good air con. Everything was very new and modern and access via a key code was so straightforward. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed in room 4 - at the back so lovely and quiet. Spacious shower room with high quality complimentary toiletries. Also the Nespresso coffee machine was a nice touch. Right in the middle of town so ideally situated for shops restaurants & bars.

We booked room 1 for one night I think one night would be enough. It’s on the high street great for location but note no car parking it’s pedestrianised and you will need to use meters or car parks until after 6 pm then move your vehicle to a street for free parking about five mins walk away. So, your next to restaurants and bars but remember that equals lots of noise and delivaroo motorbikes whizzing up and down . You are given ear plugs if that’s your thing on a weekend away. The sofa in the front room is different to the one in the photo as an FYI. The kitchen is fab well equipped lovely hamper few bits dishwasher useful. Sadly room one was let down by bedrooms that had thick dusty fans - mirrors not clean They were both dusty sad to say it was a bit tiered felt unwelcoming. The bathroom loo brush could do with changing so could the plant due to thick dust. Hallway light shades staircase dusty and dust webs hanging not great. I would not stay there again.
