3rd visit to this great little hotel and perfect as usual. If you are going to the Marlowe this hotel is perfect friendly lovely people and parking on site rooms are clean and perfect for a short stay. Breakfast has now become continental but the spread is perfect toast cheeses meats cereals nuts and seeds with high quality bread for toast. Easy to get to and less than a five minute walk to the high street and 8 minute walk to the Marlowe. Very good value with the parking included if you want somewhere to lay your head after a day in Canterbury I would definitely consider this. Thankyou

Our second visit to the Castle House Hotel, and it was just as good as the first time. Lovely, helpful staff, very clean throughout, good sized bedroom with huge en-suite. Good selection for breakfast. All in all a really good choice when visiting Canterbury.

Great Hotel, an 8-10 minutes walk from Canterbury Cathedral and centre of Canterbury. We had a lovely large room in the main building with a comfortable double bed. The shower could have benefited with a bit more power so more water came out but the water was nice and hot. Breakfast is continental but very good with plenty of cereal, yogurts, nuts, fresh fruit bread, croissants and cakes. There is tea and coffee in the rooms, a small bar next to reception and a free car park, which was excellent as we parked the car when we arrived and didn't move it until we were leaving 2 days later. The staff are very sweet and very helpful. Would use this Hotel again as it was also very reasonable priced.

What a delightful surprise near the centre of Canterbury, lovely big clean rooms, welcoming and friendly staff and the continental breakfast better than some we have had on the continent and free parrking.

Honest review. Great points, location short distance to the center, parking at the hotel a very big plus..but that's as far has good my experience goes. Hotel reception very uninviting, drab an n dull. My room really uninviting again drull. The toilet roll holder in our room has more rust than the titanic. And I really think the room service need to be shown how to make beds. Look I'm not being badly critical only I feel you need to know what to expect.

Rated 3 star but better than that! Spacious rooms, cost lounge bar, perfect location and lovely staff. Plenty to choose from in the continental breakfast and no rush! We had no problems with their free parking and we were able to walk anywhere within the city walls in 15 minutes.

My husband and I stayed here for our daughters graduation. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking in Canterbury can be very difficult and they kindly allowed us to park here, while attending the ceremony although we had checked out. The breakfast was varied and tasty although just continental and the room was warm and comfortable. Shall definitely stay here again.

We went to Canterbury for the Christmas Market and decided to stay at the Castle Hotel. We were not disappointed. A great location being just a short walk to the town. The rooms were clean and well appointed, with tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary biscuits. There is no cooked breakfast but the continental offerings are fantastic with a good choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, meats and cheeses as well as freshly baked rolls and pastries which smell delightful when you open your room door in the morning! The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, and a shout out to Rosie for being cheerful and happy and preparing me a coffee in my takeaway cup for the journey home! Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again.

Central location and spacious room. Located on a busy roundabout, therefore expect traffic noise. Curtains are rather thin, so car headlights are inevitable. Continental breakfast only available, but there was plenty of choice of good quality food. A bit surprised when we reported bathroom light wasn’t working when we checked out, only to be told that they were aware and waiting for a replacement bulb!
