It’s a great option to stay near the main streets but always for being away from street noises. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was fully renewed. The front desk people were nice but there was an Italian girl at the breakfast zone (I just can’t remember your name, I’m so sorry) that was amazing with us. She gave us tips for enjoying our trip and explained us a lot of stuff about the place history. We are very thankful for that. The breakfast was really good too.

We just got back from beautiful Canterbury and we are so pleased to have stayed in this brand new hotel, right in the heart of the city! Great staff, super clean, excellent breakfast and great bathroom! I loved the blackout curtains and the quietness, which are so important for us when we travel with our little girl. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will certainly be back!

I stay in a lot of Hilton branded hotels and must say that this one was a real treat. From the friendliest of welcomes by Peter an Wah... (I don't know how to spell the ever smiling lady's name, sorry) to the super-clean, well appointed room through to the excellent and plentiful breakfast, thanks Martha and Ali, to Maisie and Rebecca's genuine farewell I couldn't have been more comfortable. Even Jon made time to chat when passing through Reception... indeed, the whole team seem to be utterly intent on connecting with their guests. Thank you all, you're a credit to the Hilton Brand. Me and my boyfriend stayed for Valentine’s Day and it was so perfect! Me and my partner was talking to Maisie and Shani about how we met in Canterbury 16 years ago and Maisie offered to decorate our room for us and it was honestly perfect! Those girls are so lovely and welcoming, they are a true credit to the team and we will definitely be returning!

Fantastic hotel in the centre of Canterbury, in walking distance to local attractions such as the Cathedral, Castle ruins (closed at present), The old Tower, Westgate Gardens and the River Stour. The hotel and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful, rooms had a good comfy bed and lovely pillows for a great nights sleep. Good amenities in the room and throughout the hotel. Breakfast is included which is buffet style and had everything you could wish for including a waffle maker machine which was very popular. The Socialite rooftop bar next door (with great views of the Cathedral and surrounding area), offered amazing cocktails (2 for 1 between 4-7 Mon to Thurs) and bar food as well as a more substantial restaurant. A super comfortable hotel, ideal for a short break base. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family and would certainly use again if in the area. Parking Tip: Use Canterbury East Train Station which is a 7 minute easy walk to the hotel and MUCH cheaper than City Centre parking. It was so easy.…

Lovely hotel comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect will definitely stay again. Can get noisy on the high street when pubs kick out but will ask for a room at the back of the hotel next time because I am a light sleeper

My wife and I spent a couple of days at the Hampton by Hilton Canterbury. Our room was clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. We were really impressed with how friendly the members of staff were and the buffet breakfast is excellent.

My partner and I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in Canterbury. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. And breakfast was fabulous - they have a waffle maker and you can make your own waffles every morning :-) We booked the accessible Queen Room with a view and it was perfect. Only downside is you can't screen cast from your tablet or phone to the TV. So bring your own Amazon firestick if you have one or an HDMI cable.
