We stayed here for one night while in Hull to watch a football match. On arrival the man at reception was very helpful and friendly. We went to our room and it was very basic but clean and had everything we needed in it. The hotel it's self is looking a bit tired and could do with some money spending... More

I stayed here for 1 night in October on a business trip. It is a budget hotel and just qualifies at 3 stars. Facilities were adequate and food options reasonable. Room at the front of the hotel was large but very basic OK for an overnight stop only

I was quite impressed for a budget hotel - it didn't cost the earth and was in a nice central location and easily walkable into the city centre. Very clean and helpful, and friendly staff. The bar was very handy; it was made throughout the night, when we fancied a tipple when we came back from the rugby. Very pleased... More

I and my wife made the mistake of staying here and having a genuine reason to complain, wrote to the ‘manager’ who doesn’t seem to exist. Have called several times to try and come to some arrangement but anyone senior hides behind inexperienced reception staff. I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again if it was free and if you’re considering... More

Negatives : No safe, no toilet brush (!) , no ironing allowed in room ,they supply a room next to reception for this and a very bizarre cold water system which runs warm almost continually , virtually bath in it , then other days it was cool but once ran bath tap on cold for over 5 minutes and was... So I stayed here on 15th October with my boyfriend, seemed okay when we checked in. However, we came back to the hotel at around 10.45pm to be greeted with blaring music and singing from the function room directly below our room. I called down to reception at 11.15 who told me it would be shut off at 12am and... More

Stayed here on the 15th October. We didn't even stay the night as the music and extremely loud bass from the function room was unbearable. You could feel the bass in the first floor and was going on passed 12:30am we complained over 4 times and the staff didn't do nothing about it apart from try to apologise, which is... More

A no frills budget hotel located beside the train station and only a short walk from the city centre. It is a little worn in places but is clean and tidy throughout. The rooms are basic but functional. The staff were professional and helpful. It's all I needed for a short stay in Hull, basically somewhere to shower and sleep.... More
