Cannot recommend this adorable B&B enough! Just minutes walking from the center of the village and to all the restaurants/cafes/pubs. It's also very close to parks/hiking trails. It's a beautiful building with bright, clean rooms and beautiful views of the mountains. The breakfasts every morning were wonderful. The B&B is dog-friendly so we were able to take our dog on...

Just had a lovely 2 night stay at Brantholme. I mainly chose to stay as it is a dog friendly B&B. It's also very conveniently located in Ambleside, just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. Helen is a very welcoming hostess but not intrusive, available if needed & offered some very good suggestions for restaurants. Or room...

Due to early starts I was out the door before breakfast started, the staff noticed and left me a note that if I let them know they would make me a quick breakfast early so I wouldn't have to miss. They made...

There is a warm welcome and comfortable homely atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, fantastic huge comfy beds with quality linen and comfy pillows. The furniture is...
