You have to love it! It looks exactly as it is - a country pub but with a stunning restaurant sought after by locals as well as guests. There is also a beautiful hotel with sophisticated rooms in the buildings nestled in the gardens and...More

After hearing lots of great things about the drunken duck, we decided to arrange babysitters and booked a "standard room" at £130 for a night away. A special treat.....we arrived, all nicely presented from the outside. Got to reception, friendly enough, but staff were all...More

There are several reviews highlighting poor food, very expensive prices, small portions, limited menu choice and very poor customer service. What has gone wrong at the Drunken Duck? We were going to eat at the Drunken Duck one evening but decided against this due to dissatisfied customers. I also agree it is quite rude to be expected to move off your table after 2 hours when paying so much for a meal and drinks. Could this be a Wake Up call - hope so!
