We only stayed in this Hotel for one night, I have stayed in many hotels in the lakes, I have to say the service here was not good, we went out for dinner and came back to the hotel, we sat in front of the fire had a few drinks, then asked if we could have a cheese board, to...

We used to enjoy here a lot, but has changed since we were here in october, prices have gone up and a reduced menu. A real shame as it had been great before with excellent sunday lunch and pies, alas no more

I hadn't expected to enjoy our stay as much as I did. I felt we had overplayed when we had to alter our reservation made using a Tesco Vouchers. However the staff are wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a nice room & my favourite steak dinners were superb. It's in a lovely setting, just right for walking...

Booked 1 night DBB and deeply regretted it as should have booked 2! We stayed in room 9 which is very spacious and well appointed. Bathroom has bath and separate walk in shower. There is a separate dressing area and lots of wardrobe space. My only criticism was that the pillows were too soft and as such I didn't get...

Stayed here the weekend 6th and 7th January with my husband and our 2 dogs. Cannot compliment Anthony and his staff enough. From the moment we arrived until our departure we were made to feel extremely welcome (especially our dogs!). To enable us to have breakfast with our dogs, the staff set up a table in the bar in front...

Stayed 2 nights 28th & 29th December had executive double bedroom which was on the first floor. Really good size room with ample space. Bathroom fine with ample hot water, shower over the bath was poor. Have stayed here 3 times before now feel the ground floor rooms require an uplift with better furnishings definite lack of comfy seating. After...

We staying for 2 nights first night drinks at bar charged £11.00 for one glass of white sav. blanc will not be buying anymore drinks in hotel. Avoid MacDonald hotel chain. Advertised Spa on booking.com this is 8miles away we should have checked more thoroughly.

Thank disgruntledds
