Came up for two nights, we have been before a few years ago. Really liked the room after a nice welcome - very friendly.
Very comfortable bed, bit of noise from the boiler and kitchen fan in the morning but a minor problem.

A 17th century inn in the heart of Hawkshead. Stunning village, chocolate box scenery, a wonderful hotel ,friendly staff were nothing was too much trouble, spotlessly clean, fabulous food & drink what more could you ask for.

Hi -During our stay well behaved dogs were allowed, I believe the only no-go area is the morning / breakfast room. I also think if you are staying at the hotel there are "dog friendly" rooms and annexe listed on the tariff.
