During a trip to the Lakes, we were so fortunate to be recommended this gem. We ate there twice, lunch and dinner. Both were excellent. Great value for money, lovely friendly staff and really nice location. Will definitely return when we come back this way.

Dined there a couple of times, whilst staying locally. Good good and the staff were very helpful. Premises were clean, although I do have health concerns with establishments that allow dogs into the same eating area are patrons. I know it is accepted in England but I struggle with the concept. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We live locally in windermere but it's been a while since we went here but it's great when your collecting someone from oxenholme station. Great team members and a good choice on the menu, we had the scampi and the warm fish platter it was fab! You can book but we didn't and it was fine on a Thursday at...

Called into the Station Inn for a meal recently and were very glad that we had the foresight to book a table as the restaurant was packed to capacity. It felt a bit like we were packed into the room like sardines and probably owing to the large numbers of children there, it was extremely noisy. However our meal was...

Stay here at least once a year, it genuinely goes from strength to strength, clean premises, good location . Really great staff, we like tinned tomatoes for breakfast, which they did not have , on the second morning the young waitress had been out and bought us a tin , how thoughtful was that . We love it !!

We found the station Inn to be set in a fantastic location with some great outdoor features such as beer garden, mini golf and a adventure playground. The bar had a friendly atmosphere and would highly recommend the food. First impressions of the room where good but found the noise from the room above and machines in the laundry room...

We've eaten at the station Inn as a family on many occasions, it is consistently excellent, in approx 10 visits over several years we have never had a bad meal, both adults and kids meals are great, kids meals in particular are well priced, staff are always great, I would recommend a visit, wouldn't like to specifically recommend a meal...

On a very brief visit to the lakes, needed somewhere to stay, found randomely on internet- station inn, Oxenholme. It`s very convenient for the train station(5 minutes walk),the staff are very friendly and informal;the room very clean, with coffee and tea making facilities and an amazingly comfortable bed.But the food is really amazing- an incredible choice, mostly locally produced ingredients, and absolutely...

We stayed overnight. The accommodation was fine; the room huge (perfect for families), we had a giant bed and 2 singles, free tea and coffee making facilities. But the jewel in the crown was the food in in the main Inn. The menu offered a great selection and we noticed that the specials today were different from last night -...
