Fantastic hotel in stunning location, managed by lovely people. Spacious rooms, and good value as it included breakfast. We stayed overnight, and met family for dinner in the hotel. Food was excellent and service is from real people who interact with diners rather than automatons. Great evening.

It's worth the steep climb up the hill to the inn, builds up appetite and thirst! A wonderful selection on the menu... but you will definitely not be disappointed with the steak pie( my...

Main course was steak and mushroom pie, a large serving of pie with lovely pastry and stuffed with tender steak and mushrooms. Served with peas, chips and a...

Have just spent a week in the lakes, and eaten twice at the Station. Was in on Sunday evening I chose lamb Sunday roast and my husband had lamb Henry. There was plenty on our plates, the vegetables were perfect, still with a bit of crunch and not soggy. The lamb was tender, and the Yorkshire pudding was huge. We...
