The Station is one of our locals and is a great place for decebt food and a good chat. Bar staff are friendly, plenty of parking, huge play area and crazy golf for kids, outside seating, field for camping, food is tasty and plentiful and price reasonable. Pub is also right next to The Helm which is a great walk... More

Myself and my partner stayed at a guest house across the road from here and we came here for dinner one night. Loved the chickens walking around out the back of the pub, really makes you feel in the countryside. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. I am a very fussy eater but the food was amazing,... More

On holiday drove past the pub a few times and wondered if it was any good for food - well it is! Plenty of car parking, and a big play area - well that's the outside sorted. Inside the pub seems to have been totally refurbished, although not tarted up with fake charm, and there was a pleasant atmosphere. The... More

My hubby and I came to this excellent pub for an overnight stay to meet a friend who couldn't make it to our wedding. We had booked a room and a table for some food beforehand. The Station Inn is approximately a 5 minute walk from the train station. When we arrived the staff made us welcome and when we... More

Went for a meal with family and children, the food was OK or what you would expect for a traditional pub in the area, service was OK too, the playground outside is excellent for the kids which is the main reason we went. We did notice that the larger being served (stella and carling) was rather flat and served in... More

I did not stay here but had dinner . It was a really good place to eat , food was delicious and the staff were really lovely . If you are a meat eater try the Lamb Henry. It is absolutely delicious. I am sure the rest of the food is equally good.
