With parents who owned a B&B before, I already had certain standards before my partner and I came to West Barn and I must say, i was very impressed. The host is an absolutely lovely person, the rooms looked amazing and the views... what can i say? Someone below left a review using the word luxurious. That was no understatement!... More

The bedroom and bathroom are indeed in the 'luxury' category. Best B&B breakfast you could wish for. Especially because it was all so locally sourced. And we loved the opportunity to meet and feed the chickens and sheep. Very special.

We arrived from Oxford/Warwick castle area on the 8th of Jul 2013. As requested I called Sue when I was an hour away. The place is one of a kind and we wanted a countryside experience (as we had grown up reading Enid Blyton but never had a chance to live it! ) and wish we had stayed another day... More

Stayed several days in October and had a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to have Sue to ourselves and discovered what a kind and personable hostess she is. Her expertly prepared organic breakfasts were delicious. She took special care with my wife who is celiac, preparing safe options for her GF diet. Our suite on the first floor was... More

We enjoyed a one night stay at West Barn. The location and building are fabulous. The owner, Sue, is simply the best. Her passion, energy and determination to provide the most memorable stay possible are unbelievable. The place is spotless and very tastefully and simply decorated. Sue has hens (fresh eggs!!) and pet sheep for petting and keeping grass short.... More

We spent one night at West Barn en route from Folkestone to Edinburgh, it is surrounded by stunning scenery with a very good pub nearby where we enjoyed dinner that night. The bedroom was lovely, beautifully furnished, the bed was huge & comfortable and although the en suite was on the small side it did what it says on the... More

I have stayed here a few times now. It is in a beautiful location and the rooms are spotlessly clean but what really makes the stay is how well you are looked after. It all starts with a really warm welcome and ends with wishing you could stay longer

We booked at the last minute on our way back down south. Very comfy bed and spotlessly clean. The ensuite bathroom was rather compact but again very clean. Although in a rural location there was a pub within a ten minute walk that served ok food all day. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. All the produce was organic and... More

We chose this B&B for its organic credentials and its location; we needed 1 night en route from Bristol to Scotland and it was easy to reach from the M6. Sue was friendly & helpful both when booking and during our stay. The place is in a lovely rural setting. The room was nicely decorated, clean and had nice touches.... More

We stayed for just one night in August and had a very pleasant stay. Everything from the room, breakfast and friendliness of Sue was perfect. Lovely quiet location yet not far off the A65. Room was spotless and very tastefully furnished. Breakfast was fab, the best poached eggs ever!!! Highly recommended. Thanks Sue.
