Just returned from a lovely 1 night stay at Stonecross manor. I will admit I was dubious about coming to stay as the reviews I had previously seen weren't fantastic, however me and my husband thought we may as well as we had already paid, and I am so glad we did! We had a great stay, all the staff...

Me and my partner stayed here through a groupon deal. We found the hotel easily and it looked lovely from the outside. The inside furniture is rather tired looking and the walls could do with a touch of paint. The reception area smelt of strong chlorine which i know may be unavoidable as the spa is just to the left...

Stayed in February for one night on a Groupon deal which was a gift. As other reviews have already mentioned, the hotel is due for refurbishment soon. The room had a four poster bed and was clean and comfortable. (Note, the heating appeared to be set to come on twice per day so no overall control of the heating in...

Stopped via a groupon deal. Warning signs where there when my partner phoned after booking to ask about a few small details and to book the evening meal and the woman on the phone was very impolite. Hotel is very outdated and the rooms are just "ok", toilet flush didn't work well, mattress was tired and could feel the springs,...

My wife purchased a Dinner, B&B deal via Groupon. The Hotel is located on the outskirts of Kendal and is a 10-15 minute walk to the centre. The hotel is a little dated but well looked after. Our room was quite spacious but showing signs of age/wear but nothing too off putting. We used the "Spa" facilities which were nice...

This was our first visit to the hotel & I feel that it would be unfair to criticise it as the hotel is undergoing a massive refurbishment. The staff were very good & we were delighted with the evening meal which we both thought was excellent. The room we were in was dated but clean, I think you should give...

On arriving to Stonecross Manor, I was unhappy with the outside of the building, entering, it looked lovely, our room was OK ( we know it's been redecorated in the nxt few months) il leave the decor, the room was freezing, resulting in me having to wear my dressing gown over my clothes just to keep warm, I was truly...
