Excellent location Nice restaurant Only one negative which was our room facing car park. Everyone from outside could see us. Felt like no privacy at all 😕 been twice in this hotel and definitely we would come back again. Would recommend

We stayed at the Mary Mount Hotel, for the third time, between 21st and 27th May and once again it didn't disappoint. The hotel itself is in an ideal location and has wonderful views across the valley and of the lake looking towards Keswick. In the summer it's ideally situated for picking up the launch at the nearby jetty and...

Stayed here for one night. Fantastic location. Evening staff were very nice and dinner was also good. Our room was nice but it was very hot due to the warm weather so we had to have the windows wide open so were woken many times by other noisy guests and cars outside. Breakfast was average and the waitress was rude....

NB this is a food review only. This is the third time my husband and I have visited this hotel for food whilst on our holidays and we would recommend it as having good food that we ate outside as we have dogs. We shared the garlic mushrooms and the hummus/guacamole starters and both were good. My husband then had...

Was so glad to get here yesterday...we were soaked to the skin. Left Keswock in good weather and Mary Mount was the place we found some recuperation. The Manager was so good to us. Assured us we could keep our wet boots on and we were dripping yet welcomed into the lounge for hot drinks. His advice about flooded areas...

We stopped at the Hotel today whilst doing the circular walk of Derwentwater for a spot of lunch. The service was friendly and speedy and the food was really tasty. That combined with the lovely location and gazebo in the garden to sit in made it a fab spot for lunch! Would recommend a visit!

We walked the trail up to Walla Crag from Keswick and then back down to the lake. We chose Mary Mount for our lunch and we were not disappointed. Excellent selection of light meals and sandwiches. The seating was spacious and available inside or out. Our observation is that a lot of the outside seating in the UK appears to...

Stayed for 3 nights. Fabulous location right on the shore of Derwentwater with plentiful parking. Staff very friendly and always available to help. Restaurant service was very prompt and efficient. We ate in the hotel every evening without issue. There was always a table available - try to get one next to the window for excellent views over the lake...
