Me and partner stayed midweek for a quiet break and it was just that, lovely peaceful guesthouse. Room was immaculate and very cosy. Comfy bed shower was great too. Breakfast was very nice. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Lance for a nice stay.

We had a really good time staying within this guesthouse. Lance was extremely kind to pass his extensive knowledge to us on which walks to do. Our dog and us will defiantly be coming back at some point. Thank you

Would highly recommend, we stayed in the Derwentwater room with our dog, the room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Lance was very helpful and gave us some useful tips about where to go walking and kindly lent us a book and map to take with us. Would definitely return in the future!

Stayed in this B&B for a walking holiday. Lovely breakfasts in the morning, and Lance has plenty of walking books and routes if you haven't come prepared. A wonderful place to rest your head after a long day of walking, and only a stones throw away from the town centre with plenty of pubs and restaurants.

Ideally situated a short stroll from the centre of Keswick, we were well looked after at Littlefield. The rather handsome house dog was there to greet us and hand us over to the proprietor. The room was small but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights with a powerful shower ensuite. With the offer of drying facilities on our return,...

Clean cosy bed, fab shower and tasty breakfast! What more could you ask for in the Lakes :) The owner was very helpful and will do things like book you a table at a local restaurant (mobile signal isn't always great even in Keswick!)

Stayed two nights in superior room. Very clean & comfortable. Nice welcome on arrival, nothing was too much bother. Quiet location, only 5 mins walk from centre. Breakfast was great and plenty of it. Will definately visit again.

It is a really nice B&B, it is in the heart of Keswick, close to all the walks. The room is clean and with all the necessities. You can see the mountain from the bath room. The owner is very nice, very knowledgeable about the surrounding hiking routes, he recommended the routes for us and lent us his map too,...

My cousin and I are not hikers; however, we appreciate the beauty, history, and significance of the area. If you are a hiker, stay here. Lance, the owner, is your man--he knows everything about hiking in the area. The rooms are clean; delicious breakfasts; walking distance to the town centre. Parking may be a problem during the summer months/peak seasons...

I stayed at Littlefield guesthouse for 3 nights in August. It is in a quiet location away from the main road and I had a very peaceful nights sleep. I had the top floor attic room. It was a double room, quite big enough for two people with a fantastic view out towards Skiddaw. The ensuite was big and roomy...

“We stayed in the spacious and nicely furnished "Grasmere" - with king-size bed (though can be set-up as a twin, I believe), very powerful shower, but sadly no view.”
