Rececently stayed here for a week away with my wife, it's an ideal location for experiencing the delights of Keswick and it's local area. The park is well kept and very quiet this time of year, it's in walking distance to Keswick And is the second time we've stayed at the park. We would highly recommend this park and look... More

Looked for somewhere very last minute for August Bank Holiday Weekend and found a little gem called Bracken Lodge on Burnside Park, just outside of Keswick. Lodge was only for Two, so cosy, but very well equipped and very clean by a few cobwebs on light fittings but we were under trees and spiders have to live somewhere too !!... More

Loved our week at Blencathra Lodge. Ideal location, even using public transport. We don't have a car so arrived by bus and ordered online shopping from Tesco. Both no problem. Bus stop a five minute walk away. Lodge was spotless and well fitted out. Everything you could possibly need including washing machine and dishwasher. Lovely balcony and view. Comfy beds... More

Very quiet and peaceful with excellent kept grounds. A lovely clean lodge that is privately rented out through Cumbrian Cottages. Excellent walking distance into Keswick town centre (15 mins max). Easy access to Fitz Park again within a short walking distance. A local pub again within 10 minutes walk serving excellent beer and food.

We stayed in Skiddaw at Burnside lodge. It was very satisfactory- and good if you have a dog. We don't but we took part on the many activities around the area-including nicol marina We really enjoyed looking out of the veranda on to the fields below Skiddaw.

Every amenity you could wish for in a self catering lodge. Cannot think of a single thing missing in the well equipped kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Ideal location for walkers, hikers, cyclists and dog walkers. About a mile and a half walk into Keswick town but plenty of car parks should you wish to drive. Keswick is full of cafes, bars,...
