My wife and I have just got back home after 2 nights at the Ravensworth - and we enjoyed our stay greatly. We stayed in the Derwentwater room, which has a 4 poster bed, a spa bath, sofa for watching TV and is generously sized. The room was very clean, extremely large, the bed comfortable and the spa bath with... More

First time here although a regular to Keswick. Were welcomed by Alison the owner who provided car parking pass and efficient check in and offered assistance with our luggage. Our room, Catbells was a standard double room with en suite shower and although not massive was very comfortable with great nights sleep and had been newly refurbished, not luxuriously by... More

When we arrived at the Hotel we were greeted by a lady who turned out to be the owner - but no smile of welcome: who then stood telling us we had to order breakfast on a "post it" note for each day which I personally found a bit off putting. The room was absolutley lovely but there was a... More

We stayed for 3 nights at Ravensworth, but were late in booking and got the ground floor room with absolutely no view (the window had been covered so it was opaque). This was entirely our own decision as they told us they only had one room left and there was no view. My friend didn´t mind, but it made me... More

Lovely to be met by Jason the owner. Although on a corner, car parking is not a problem as you are given a free pass to stay in the car park 2 minutes away. We stayed in the room called Lords Seat on the top floor - but don't be put off, the view to the hills was lovely and... More

We stayed from Friday to Monday at the end of March 2011 in Friars crag (double room). The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They contacted us personally the day before our stay to let us know to call just before we arrived and they would make sure they were in. This is great and I don't know why previous... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and were not disappointed. We booked the best room which was very comfortable and even though it was on the road, it was very quiet and we had an excellent nights sleep. The location is perfect bang in the middle of Keswick so short walks to all pubs/restaurants. Jason was able to recommend places... More

We cannot fault this excellent bed and breakfast accommodation. It is very clean and comfortable and in a central location. We booked room 7, which is worth the long haul up the stairs for the fantastic views over the mountains and town. I really enjoyed sipping a glass of cold white wine from the honesty bar as I luxuriated in the... More

My Husband and I needed a well earned break and we decided to try Keswick. We found this place on the internet. We are in the pub trade and know how long the working hours are! The service was fantastic. Alison and Jason were only too happy to help. They work extremely hard and should be proud of providing such... More

“We stayed in room 7 (the lords seat) at the back of the B&B, with amazing views. it is however on the 3rd floor (which we were told upon booking). It also has a spa bath which is lovely after a long walk.”

“We loved this room for the comfort, space, snuggle seat (spinny chair for two!), view from the window and bubble bath. Would highly recommend this room as it's a cut above the rest. Well worth it. The site has a virtual tour of all the available rooms so check it out to pick a room that best suits you.”
