Ideally located near the centre of Keswick which is my favourite town in the Lake District. Accommodation was clean and tidy and it's a pity this place will close soon as I would definitely stay there again.

I found that the accommodation was very basic. The bed felt like I was sleeping on concrete. The breakfast was OK but not great. All in all I would not recommend. We were woken up multiple times by there son coming in drunk at 3 am in the morning.

We stayed at Castlefell for a few days whilst attending the Keswick Convention. This was the first time we had actually stayed in the centre of Keswick. We are so glad we found this excellent B&B, Sarah could not do enough for us to ensure the stay was beyond our expectations. The breakfast was superb with fresh eggs from the...

Very good small B&B. Breakfast is very good and owner is very friendly and chatty. Rooms are compact and very clean. Well maintained. Good location a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. Parking permits from owners mean that there's no problem with parking.

Lovely little guest house with a friendly welcome. Small but very clean rooms and one of the best breakfasts ever tasted in the Lake District. Walkable distance to the centre of Keswick so we could leave the car which was great. Able to park right outside of the house and was given a disc to fend off the traffic wardens!

Stayed at Castlefell B&B for one night in Nov 15, couldn't fault it. Did 2 days walking and stayed here for one night. The owner (Sarah) couldn't do enough for us, dried all our wet clothes ( and the were very wet!) made us feel very welcome and was very attentive, very friendly and had lots of local knowledge about...

An ex-council house in a quiet location near the rugby club and only minutes from the shops and cafes, Hope Park, theatre and lake. There are 2 well-equipped en-suite bedrooms, Sarah's breakfasts are excellent, and if you don't want to move your car during the day she will loan you a parking permit. There is free wifi, a small selection...

We were travelling up to Scotland to visit family and stopped off in Keswick to break the trip up and I'm glad we did. The B&B was ideally located, it is a short walk from Keswick town centre which is lovely and traditionally English. It is also a 10 minute walk from Derwentwater lake which has stunning views with great...

Tiny bedroom up a narrow flight of stairs, barely eight inches between the end of the bed and the wall. Parking by permit supplied by Proprietor but only allows 2 hours at a time. Breakfast very basic.

We had a fab one night stay here on our whistlestop tour of Keswick. Our host was friendly, laid back and very helpful about what to see and do in Keswick. The room and breakfast were both of great standard (Ensuite bathroom was spotless) and we had a really comfortable stay. We visited the theatre and the family do get...
