My wife and I have just enjoyed a three day break based at Acorn House. We were given a warm welcome by Chris on our arrival and shown to our room on the first floor. The room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic shower and a great view of Blencathra. Breakfast was only OK but overall, especially considering the...

Four days here to New Years day and as usual friendly and warm with excellent room and breakfast with good company. We have been staying at The Acorn for 10 years. We come regularly for a week in October, 3 nights at New Year and whenever we can escape for an odd weekend. The accommodation, food and staff are excellent and it has a car park, which is a bonus in Keswick. Couldn't recommended it enough.

A very good B&B, very clean, nice white cotton sheets and white fluffy towels. Nice and warm and comfortable. The house itself has some nice period features and the decor suits type of house. Breakfast very nice. The parking is a bonus as the streets can get very busy around town. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go back.
