Lovely b and b. Welcome by carol and jed was fabulous. The property is immaculately kept, really clean and the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was fabulous, we had to check out early on Sunday, carol made sure we were well fed before we left. The property is really close to the centre of Keswick and you are given a...

Our second visit to Honister house didn't disappoint. It's in a central position in Keswick, clean, warm and welcoming. Great breakfasts, packed lunch on request - they provide for vegans and veggies too.

My sister and I stayed at Honister House last week during the “Words by the Water” festival in Keswick. It was our second visit. We were impressed with it last year and it was every bit as good this time. We got a lovely warm welcome from Carol and Ged who do a superb job of running Honister House. It’s...

The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable with multi channel Tv, en suit etc. But it's the extras bits that make Honister House a top guest house. The friendliness of Jed and Carol, the help and advice, the homemade cakes Carol leaves in the rooms, toiletries, help with bags or just the wonderful breakfast. I'm not sure what more...

Carol and Ged are the ultimate hosts; you feel like you're staying with friends. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they catered for my dietary requirements beautifully. The room (the whole house actually) was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable, the blackout blind made for a lovely lie in and the ensuite bathroom was really nicely done and...

We can only reiterate what has been said before - to put it simply, this is how a B&B should be run. Carol & Ged are incredible hosts (friendly, informative, helpful, but not intrusive) and the B&B is just so cosy and homely. It's the little personal touches that make the difference....homemade cake every day which was absolutely delicious, cafatiere...

Just spent two nights over the new year at Honister House. Cannot fault anything, the room, breakfast and hospitality were all great. The home made cake and bottle of Prosecco for new year were lovely touches. Thank you very much for a lovely break Fiona and Dave

We stayed for 4 nights in the Belle and Sebastian room over half term. Can't add anything to the other hundreds of fabulous reviews of Carole and Jed - just perfect! We booked for the same time next year on leaving which says it all 😊

Just had two lovely days in Keswick and stayed at Honister House. What a great place to stay, so close to everything. We stayed in The Bell & Sebastian room which had a great view and a really comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but really fitted out well with a small bath with shower. Nice enough to have a nice...
