Based on long lasting experience - Bed and Breakfast accomodation can be hit and miss. However, Green Gables is all hit and no misses. The staff are welcoming and the environment very tidy. We have already marked here as a place to return.
Met Alex, our host, nice chap. Offered for us to stow our motorbikes in the back garden. Both our rooms were en suite and were in good condition, clean & modern. Also within easy walk of the town centre, restaurants & pubs.
Nice people. Clean and tidy B&B. You can have the option to park for free on the street otherwise you can park in a car park in front of it.
Huge Breakfast portion and staff is very kind and helpful.

Yes there are plenty of pubs turn right out of the guest house, at the end of the street is about 100 yards and you are then in the little hustle and bustle of the town with pubs, restaurants and cafes. The whole street is free parking if you can find a space, but also right opposite the guest house just get away is a paid car park if you're if you're using successful on the street. Keep checking the road outside and you'll probably then be able to get a space.
