Jean at Kays Cottage was so welcoming and served a delicious breakfast (with lots of choice)! Very homely and would absolutely return. Great location, great host and great place. Thank you very much Jean!

Only 1 night but only because of our availability,.,, Exceeded any expectation for a 1 nt stay to a B&B providing the services advertised. Friendly, Professional and Accommodating to our individual needs; but providing Facilities to assist in a variety of needs/interests of a wide range of clientele hoping to stay. Just been for an overnight stay to Kay's cottages, absolutely great, Jean and Dave lovely people and a lovely breakfast. IN a great spot near to some nice shops and eating places, , easy to find, will defo be going again .

This place is in an amazing location, with a 5 minute walk to about 10 restaurants and some shops. The room was larger then expected (small double) and had some great views from the windows. Jean was a wonderful host, who cooked an amazing breakfast.

We had a very warm welcome from Jean, our room was lovely with a good on suite the room its self was very comfortable with everything you could wish for, breakfast was sumptuous. Very handy location for us, nice strolling distance to Bowness, down the hill and very close to Windermere village centre (shops & restaurants) also not that far...

Jean is a lovely warm lady. She is always there to help you, recommend things, book at cab. The place is well kept and I am so impressed with the attention to details like ear buds, make up remover pads for face, hot chocolate, cookies of the highest quality. It is by far better than any hotels I have stayed...

This B&B is simply wonderful! We couldn't of asked for more. Its been a pleasure to stay here. The rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you could ever need! Jane is the most amazing host I've met. She's really friendly and will go out of her way to help. The attention to detail in the room was beyond compare. Everything you could possibly need was present. From manicure sets and make up wipes to shower caps and body lotions. Fresh milk in a thermos flask or Wine glasses and...

Kays cottage is a wonderful b&b they seemed to have thought of everything we needed to make sure our stay was an enjoyable experience. It was a great location an they are very walm and welcoming. Jean even suggested a lovely local walk for us on the sunday. I will definitely go back if im stopping in Windermere again.

3 of us stayed for one night in the triple room which was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great and we really enjoyed talking to Jean while eating it. A bargain and a great place to stay.
