Meadfoot Guest House was certainly the best B&B my girlfriend and I have ever stayed. Gail and Steve were so welcoming and keep the premises to such a high standard. Having a planned out packed weekend ahead, we didn't get a chance to enjoy the garden which is an absolute delight. We were very lucky with the weather, nevertheless I'm... More

Gail and Steve met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was very comfortable and had a good sized shower room. Plenty of choice for breakfast, couldn't fault it. Enjoyed sitting in the breakfast room looking out onto the garden and pond. Private entrance to our own room was... More

Room very clean and liked being able to go direct into the garden from our room. Garden is very nice too. Breakfast had options for vegetarians which was great for us. The room we stayed in was lovely - had everything we needed including a sewing kit! Everything was upto scratch and maintained very well. The location is perfect if you want to walk into town or go down to the lake. It's also quiet and ideal if you're looking for a peaceful retreat. The hosts are wonderful people - warm,... More

Me and my boyfriend visited the guesthouse the weekend just gone, as soon as we arrived we was greeted by Gail who truly could not have done enough for us! She showed us around giving us information about breakfast and also things to do around the area. As I'm 6 months pregnant she automatically offered me more pillows so I... More

Our stay at Meadfoot Guest House was lovely from the moment we stepped in until the day we left. We arrived earlier than our check-in time, but Gail allowed us to park up and leave our suitcase in the room while we had a day trip to Bowness-on-Windermere. Both Gail and Steve were really accommodating, providing us with places to... More
