The hotel was very quiet, and the staff were fantastically helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely, and the spa bath in the ensuite was also a bonus. Health Spa facilities were great, although the steam room was closed for maintenance, but the Jacuzzi overlooking the lake more than made up for it. Also wanted to mention...

We recently stayed here just for one night and because the road was closed and check in wasn't until 3 o clock its a good job we arrived later on! We had a room that was over looking the lake and you could not fault the views at all, very beautiful. When it came to the facilities they were very...

We stayed for 1 night in January but wished we'd had time to stay for 2 nights. The pool and outside hot tub with views of the lake was lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was very nice, and we had our evening meal in the bar/lounge, which was very reasonably priced for the quality. Our room overlooked the lake, with...

stunning location, so close to the water, which lead to the most beauitful veiws I had seen for a while. night or day there was always something beauitful to watch from our windows or the bar area. our room was very basic and abit old fashioned to our normal taste but it was always cleaned well and the beds were...

We visited as part of my 40th birthday celebrations & weren't disappointed. The room was beautiful, the spa amazing , staff friendly & polite (apart from the barman who appeared miserable) & the food was gorgeous ( I recommend trying the sweet shots for dessert). The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the barman & the fact the...

We had a lovely modern room with ensuite that had stunning lake views! The breakfast was lovely and tasty with lots of choice! The staff were lovely and friendly, we didn't use the spa facilities...

We stayed here because of the spa facilities and the really good food - we weren't disappointed. The room was comfortable and clean, lovely views of the lake from the bar/dining area and hot tub, great service and a good selection at breakfast. Can't wait to stay there again. A map was sent out with usual, booking details, So coming up from Wigan, we followed the map which would have taken us too A590 Newby Bridge, then on...

Great weekend at Beech Hill Hotel and Spa. Facilities are great, pool, steams and outdoor jacuzzi. We also had massages which were quite good too, very expensive though. Ate in the restaurant each night and the food was great. Would definitely go again.

Fabulous location, wonderful Spa with outdoor hot tub, pool and sauna, unfortunately the steam room was out of order. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. Lots of extras were given as part of the package and a wonderful firework display. My only negatives are there is no lift and there are seven storeys so note suitable for...
