We stayed at Rum Doodle for my birthday in January having read really good reviews on here. We weren't disappointed. We stayed in the Summit room which was spacious and cosy. Emma and Gregor are fantastic hosts too. We were welcomed with a pot of tea and chocolate brownies which were gorgeous and a lovely touch. They also arranged for...

Me and my partner stayed at the B and B at the end of November '16, and we loved our stay! The hotel is placed quite equally between bowness and Windermere, we walked into bowness easily but there was also taxi firm which were easy to contact. The B and B itself is decorated so well, quirky but not overdone....

Picked the hotel as I loved the name. I'm glad I chose it as we had a wonderful stay. Met on arrival by Emma who offered coffee/tea and a gorgeous carrot cake. Rooms comfy with tea trolley. Breakfast choice good and very tasty. Will not hesitate to recommend hotel to family and friends.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in this family B&B, you were made to feel so welcome the moment you walked in, tea and cake on arrival, very friendly staff, and the luxury toiletries in the bathroom were top notch! Would recommend the 4 poster room as the bed was so comfortable, breakfast was very tasty, they thought of all...

Really enjoyed the room especially the superior four poster bed. Very close to the town. Which was great, would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back to enjoy again. Also went for the super moon which we didn't really get to see but overall great town and a very nice bed and breakfast.

What can I say that doesn't just echo the glowing praise of others. Nothing new. We had room Binder (from the Rum Doodle book) ground floor near the kitchen and breakfast room. Very quiet and comfortable (till breakfast time of course, when we wanted to be up anyway). Emma was so helful with restaurants and places to go and her...
