A well placed hotel with decent parking. We left the car there for the duration, to walk into Windermere is 5 minutes for food & drink. Walking to Bowness is 25 minute easy walk so no hassles with car parking. The hotel room is comfortable, no lifts. Very good shower, we even received an Easter egg on the Sunday, Thank...

The room was in little small but only stayed a couple of nights so ok. Very clean and accommodating. Breakfast a bit limited but nice what you got. Very accessible for everywhere. Charming hotel would stay again.

Lovely comfortable hotel. We were made to feel very welcome We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon tea when we arrived. Breakfast is very good - lovely hot and fresh. It is a very good location for getting around the Lake District. Nice bars and restaurants close by. We will stay here again

This was our second stay at this lovely hotel, it's comfortable, quiet, clean and perfectly placed for a visit to the Lakes. Plus Nick & Cheryl are the perfect hosts, and breakfast is lovely. Mr Ravensworth gives the best cuddles too ;) We'll definitely be back here x

The hotel, staff, food and location are all excellent. My only moan is a small one in that the afternoon tea was not clearly stated that it was on the day of arrival only. The tea was marvelous and we were disappointed that it wasn't available every afternoon.

Had a 2 night stay 12-14th March on a wowcher b&b offer. Welcomed by the proprieter and after taking us to our room which was a nice superior room that we had paid extra for, we came downstairs and sat down to lovely tea & coffee with various sandwiches and beautiful cakes all included in the deal. Nice comfortable &...
