Stayed here for two nights using a voucher deal where we received afternoon tea on arrival. Easy to find, they have two car park areas, one in front of the hotel and a small one at the back. The b & b ask you to inform them of your arrival in advance which we did, we made good time so...

Lovely comfortable hotel. We were made to feel very welcome We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon tea when we arrived. Breakfast is very good - lovely hot and fresh. It is a very good location for getting around the Lake District. Nice bars and restaurants close by. We will stay here again

This was our second stay at this lovely hotel, it's comfortable, quiet, clean and perfectly placed for a visit to the Lakes. Plus Nick & Cheryl are the perfect hosts, and breakfast is lovely. Mr Ravensworth gives the best cuddles too ;) We'll definitely be back here x

The hotel, staff, food and location are all excellent. My only moan is a small one in that the afternoon tea was not clearly stated that it was on the day of arrival only. The tea was marvelous and we were disappointed that it wasn't available every afternoon.

Very comfortable stay. Ground floor room was a good size, with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was large and clean, with an excellent shower. The hotel is in a great central location, for visiting different parts of the lakes. Although it is on a main road, our room was very quite.
