Plenty of help of offer and after a long day out, a nice cup of tea and cake that were offered were most welcome. This is a short walk from the station and the town centre and good value in high season

We stayed here on a weekend break and arrived early to make the most of our weekend . The owner was really accommodating and our room was ready despite it being barely midday. We were shown to our room which was lovely and clean and just as shown on website. Bed was soooo huge and comfortable that I asked where...

First time at The Ravenworth but very familiar with the area, so I was pleased to find it is well above average in all sorts of things with lots of thoughtful touches. In no particular order: 1. Room (single) was small but bright and well though out with a *very* comfortable bed and lots of storage space, including a safe....

We had noticed this b&b on an number of occasions but never stayed. We decided to try and where not disappointed. Clean, tidy and welcoming. Bonus was ground floor annexe room with no stairs. We had a small courtyard area, if the weather had been better this would be ideal.

The Ravensworth is very clean and does what it says on the bottle. The only thing I would say is if you have a good appetite the cooked breakfast is small, You only get one sausage / 2 x bacon / half tomato / 5 bits of mushrooms and a choice of eggs. A rack of toat came with only...

I am really sorry but this kind of review really does concern me. We have never been accused of scrimping on our breakfasts in the 6 years that we have been here. A full continental buffet, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, followed by 6 choices of cooked breakfasts is not really scrimping, or deserving of a 6 year old. The full...

Just returned from a lovely weekend at the Ravensworth, despite our late arrival we were greeted by friendly and helpful owners. The room was modern yet cosy with lots of thoughtful details and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast each morning was freshly cooked to order and delicious. The hotel could not be in a better location, only a short walk from...

We stayed in a king corner room on the first floor with windows on two sides, views over neighbouring properties. Well appointed with TV/DVD, Ipod dock, tea and coffee and toiletries. Only issue was noisy upstairs occupants on the second night who seemed to be moving furniture and suit cases until 2am, however this is can be a problem in...

All too short one night stay at the Ravensworth. Great location for Windermere & just a short walk to Bowness. Fantastic room, very comfortable with a high attention to detail. Superb breakfast in the conservatory. On site parking a bonus. Hope we can stay again soon.

Great location and very friendly, helpful staff. My single room was clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent. Cooked to order and good selections. The Wifi was poor but I find that it par the course in most accommodation. The Lake District is a lovely part of the world.

Thank Johan V
