We booked through Laterooms and so got a better deal than on their website. We had the top suite (Langdale) which was brilliant. A large loft conversion with a large jacuzzi bath as well as a shower. Very comfortable bed and enough storage for all our walking gear. Breakfast each morning was excellent, freshly cooked to order and of good... More

We stayed at the annisgarth for 2 nights in the langdale room. It had everything you needed and more. The bathroom has a spa bath and a walk in shower, both of which were excellent. The room itself was cosy, homely and very comfortable. After a long days walk we returned to our room to find a couple of scones... More

Annisgarth provides all you could want and more from a bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Langdale Suite at the top of the house, which is a stunning little room. A very welcoming arrival, friendly atmosphere - it is obvious from the outset that Bernie and Danny are dedicated to what they do and want to make certain you have an enjoyable stay. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you for an enjoyable break away without the kids!!

My partner brought me here for a late birthday weekend, it's a great place, bernie is a lovely lady who makes lovely cakes and the little extras of chocolates on the pillows or on the bed make it all the more special. The attention to detail she provides is A**. The room (the langdale suite) is gorgeous, cosy and warm... More

We have just spent an excellent New Year at the Annisgarth & had a wonderful experience. The Langdale Suite was beautiful with its large bedroom & en-suite bathroom that included a Jacuzzi bath & candles...perfect. A 10 minute stroll to all the nightlife & lake front it was the ideal location. Will certainly return at some point in the future.

Our second visit to Annisgarth B and B and just when you think it could'nt get any better.....it does. We stayed in the same room that we stayed in, in October, and it has been totally re decorated, to a lovely standard. Bernie and Danny, the proprietors really are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble to them, and the... More

I recently took my partner away for a romantic weekend for her birthday and we stayed at the Annisgarth. Having booked a couple of months in advance, I chose The Langdale room which is on the top floor and is touted as the most luxurious room and a spa bath. Bernie/Danny quickly confirmed my booking by email and offered to... More

Wow!! First of all sorry for taking so long to respond. I have spent the last few days trawling through T.A. to see if this is the longest ever review, and if it's not it's pretty close. Besides we had to read it in shifts...Anyway enough of our Northern Humour. We are truly humbled that you had such a good... More
