Last week myself and my fiance stayed at Wheatlands lodge for one night. My fiance had planned a proposal and we were allowed to check in early, and upon arrival the bed was decorated with rose petals. The breakfasts were lovely and accommodated my gluten free diet as I am a ceoliac. All staff were friendly. We will be sure...

The room (I think it's called Club Room) is nice and utilised...

Recently stopped at the Guesthouse for two nights! The owner was very pleasant and welcoming (tea and cakes on arrival) and the breakfast is really good (non greasy and homemade bread). We opted for a full English but you can pick from a menu e.g salmon and scrambled eggs etc. I wouldn't say this is a 5* place, however it's...

Very friendly service and everything done to the highest standards. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful when giving information about what to see and where to go. I think they have thought of everything that a guest might need.
