well where do i start, I would like to thank Neil, Sam, Clive, Daniel, Donna Kevin, Ashley and Steph for an excelent stay. I originally booked for 5 nights and ended up stay or two and half weeks, i found the hotel warm and welcoming and most of all clean. Yes it does look a bit tired in places but...

If you are on holiday and fancy relaxing and sleeping in your room, go somewhere else! If you want to be kept awake all night with naked rancid men roaming the corridors and stairs masturbating and knocking on your door and rattling the door handle all night, it's a 5 star establishment!

I would like to say I don't normally respond to reviews on here as I am a firm believer that every one is entitled to there own opinion. The reason I have responded to this review is I find it a very rude one and out of order. as most of the guest's are aware that have stayed at the...

I am not sure why my first review has been removed, I did get a letter from the manager claiming what I had said was nonsense, the carpets could not have been disgusting, as he claims he had just cleaned them, and my bed was not a fea pitted pile of springs as all rooms have new mattresses? He wanted...

i have been visiting trades since 1996,and yes i would agree that in years gone by,the hotel did need refurbishing, which neil has been doing over the last few years,in relation to a previous comment regarding room 108, i stayed in this room in july, and this room is certainly not dated or anything like it,it has been renovated this year, and i...

We stayed for one night, Monday 4th October and unfortunately we won't be returning. The room,108, was dated mismatched furniture and was not very clean. The shower was dirty and the toilet wouldn't flush and took hours to refill. There was a blind in the bathroom right next to the loo but this wouldn't cover the ceiling to floor window,...

Contrary to what some might claim, Trades is a belting little hotel, which is being gradually upgraded, welcoming guests and locals equally. Great staff, great breakfasts and superb location. It's not The Imperial, and I'm glad it isn't - I would book there if I wanted that kind of visit. As for security - let's face it, if Kim Kardashian...

This very friendly hotel does what it says on the tin. Cheap and cheerful, great staff, and is being upgraded if a little slowly. I stayed in a refurbished room, very nice and clean. The main corridors are a little tatty and need modernisation. It can be a bit noisy but when u stay here you kinda expect that. Its...

Stayed again last month probably the 15 th time we've been ! So that obviously says something straight away ! Me and the boyfriend ( both mid 20s) drive from stoke and always ask for a specific room in advance 116 or 117 which is normally possible. After reading the last few reviews about thieves !
