We picked this hotel for its proximity to the Winter Gardens as my daughter and her friend were in a dancing competition there and had a very early start. The hotel has a friendly, cosy feel about it. The room was very comfortable for the price we paid. Breakfast was enjoyable, and they very kindly made breakfast an hour early...

If you look at some of my other reviews you will see we usually stay in 4 and 5 star hotels so this was a bit of a change. Warmly greeted by Mihaela a very nice member of the team who told us about a firework display that evening. Our room was compact but very clean. Not much in the...

Stayed for 2 nights. Twin room was clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was quality. Great central location and only a few minutes walk from the Tower, prom and other attractions. Would stay there again.

We decided on the spur of the moment to join a family weekend in Blackpool... The hotel they booked was full so my nephew had a look at the hotel next door to theirs. I'm pleased to say it had some available rooms. We booked a premiere room and was not dissapointed, very small but cosy and very clean. Tea...

Perfect location for tower, beach, winter gardens and train station. Extremely hot rooms, no fans or air con, creaky floors, very 80s deecor through out, old fashioned box llift 2 person max, basic and nothing like the pictures but good brekfast and staff

This venue is an excellent base to the winter gardens and town centre, within 5 mins walk. The hotel is in need of modernising, carpets from the 80's but despite this it is spotlessly clean. You need to reserve a parking spot in the limited available, however there is a cctv carpark just a few mins up the street.

Stayed for two nights whilst at the Freestyle World Championships this weekend. The staff were so helpful, it was just me and my daughter and I'm disabled. They helped with doors and bags. They freshened our room for the next day and the room itself did it's job we were comfortable and able to wash & rest. Included in our...

Went to Blackpool for the RPRA weekend. As a base this hotel is ideal. Well priced, close to town centre, good breakfasts and warm and comfortable room... Not a fancy hotel but did the job for us... May not suit family holiday as you may require more of a family orientated hotel. Will certainly use the Alumhurst Hotel again
