Nice and friendly guest house. The owners Paul and Maxine were lovely nothing was to much trouble, especially as we had to have early breakfasts. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, very clean. The position of the hotel was very central and a short walk to everything. Will certainly go back there again!

We stayed when the lights were on so struggled to park , Which isnt the hotel's fault so had to park by Sainsburys . The lady who greeted us was very friendly and chatty , that was the only time we saw her though , The room was small but clean and adequate for 1 night , Could have done... More

Thank you for your feedback. Agree totally on the blinds comment and happy to report that the three rooms that only had blinds up have now also got new curtains as well - it was one of those jobs on the to do list, which has now been ticked off. With regard to the bar and hair dryer - it... More

We stayed at the Rutlands with another couple for the last weekend of the lights and so glad we did! The place is spotless and the first thing that hits you when you arrive is the fresh clean smell along with the warm greeting from the owners ! Our room was ideal and as I had forgot my toiletries it... More

We were met by Maxine as we had arrived early and wanted to leave our luggage and park the cars, as there is no street parking outside. The rooms were ready which we did not expect. We were shown to our 4 rooms which were on the first floor. The rooms are very small, no we did not expect a... More

My friend and I stayed here the beginning of November, and all I can say is I'm gutted we had not found this place earlier, or had a longer stay. We have been visiting Blackpool for many years, and stayed in many b&b's and hotels (including large chains) and this definitely ticks every box. The owners Paul and Maxine are... More

Paul and Maxine were extremely friendly. We had a family room with en suite the room was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. We all had a wonderful nights sleep. The breakfast was beautiful plenty to eat, was full the rest of the day. The location was perfect. A very central location to all the attractions of... More

Hubby and I have just returned home from a two night stay at Rutlands and have had a great time. We had a small double with en suite which was fine for what we paid and it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with prompt service and a good selection. Rutlands is in a great location literally a five... More

We stayed at the Rutlands a couple of weeks ago for three nights and just wished to tell others of our fantastic stay! We stayed in room 15 which was spotlessly clean and trendy with an ever so comfortable bed. The room was adequate for our needs and the en suite had a hot shower. Paul and Maxine were really... My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights. Paul and Maxine were friendly and did a nice breakfast. Room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. The only thing I would say, and this is in no way a criticism, is there could maybe have been some hooks on the back of the room door for coats. Overall we... More
