We stayed at The Cranstone Hotel during Easter for 2 nights. I must say we were received with a warm welcome by Shirley. We were made to feel at home. Thanks to Shirley we were given an extra room for no additional cost. This Hotel is close to the attractions and local amenities. We walked by the promenade to the tower. The rooms are clean and bright (though it needs a little updating). Rooms had an extra heater(for guests like me) As we asked for vegetarian breakfast, we were catered for our needs.(would have preferred fresh tomatoes though)

We have stayed at The Cranstone Hotel a good number of times over the years & in all truth, we would not stay anywhere else now. From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart you are treated as though you were part of the family, possibly like royalty, It really is like a home from home. Sam & Shirley are the perfect hosts & nothing is too much trouble, as they fuss over you & do their utmost to make sure your visit is one to remember. The rooms are clean & tidy, tastefully decorated & have ample storage space, (just in case your wife is like mine & loves shopping!).Breakfast is top notch, but such is the hospitality I have skipped it on the odd morning or two - due to still being in the bar until the wee small hours. If you are going to Blackpool, to The Pleasure Beach or

From the moment you step in the door at The Cranstone Hotel you are made welcome by Shirley and Sam. We have stayed many times, the rooms are light, bright and clean, breakfasts are delish! Shirley is always willing to cater for the more awkward guests (me)! Many a good night have been held singing ,dancing and laughing in the cosy bar and we look forward to many more.

We have stayed at the Cranstone Hotel with Shirley and Sam for a few years now. We would not go anywhere else in Blackpool now. Nothing is too much trouble and they are both fantastic hosts and company. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is great, Shirley has always catered for our daughter who is..... lets say.... a little awkward!! The location of the hotel is also great as only a few minute walk both to the tower and the pleasure beach. Our last stay in October was most enjoyable, having a fantastic few 'late' nights in the bar with both of them. And needless to say we have already booked for next year...... And looking forward to it already.

We stayed last weekend 28th & 29th September. Lovely Hotel. Sam & Shirley were excellent hosts nothing was to much trouble for them and great company sitting in the bar in the evening. Our room was comfortable & clean with tea & coffee making facilities. Excellent breakfast with a choice of cereals and what we would call a proper cooked English Breakfast. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. We will definatley be going again. Thanks to Sam Shirley and Mandy

This was the second time we've stayed at The Cranstone hotel. Shirley & Sam make you feel like family & nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are comfortable & clean with tea & coffee making facilites. Breakfast is served at the respectable time of 9am - great if you've had a night out on the tiles, evening meals are available but we've not used had them. Sam & Shirley only accept couples & families so you are sure to get a good nights sleep without the worry of being disturbed by groups of lads or girls returning at silly times. Limited on street parking available on a first come first served basis, however on both stays we have taken advantage of the nearby secure parking that Shirley can pre book for you - this is a short 5 min walk away & costs about the same as the 24hr

As soon as we were welcomed by Sam and Shirley it just felt like we were being welcomed by family, it was very relaxed and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely breakfast, which by the way was at 9am so that was great to have a lie in after a karaoke night out at the local pub ;) Parking was restricted but Shirley booked us into a nearby secure car park which was a short walk away for a small fee, which was well worth peace of mind. The Illuminations were fantastic to look at and well worth a visit. We will definitely be making a return visit.
